Hello

My name is Brigitte Van de Rijt. From my studio in rural Melsele (Belgium), I paint landscapes, objects and people in acrylic in vivid colors. With a lot of passion and success, in the last few years I have also concentrated on unusual themes such as racing cars and motorcycles.

I was born in 1956 in Compiègne, France and have lived in Belgium since 1986. I graduated from the university in Reims with a degree in economy. This was followed by a doctorate in history of art at the Ecole du Louvre (Paris) and a post-graduate degree in history of art at the Sorbonne (Paris). Since this time, I regularly exhibit in Belgium and France and often work on assignments.

I'm a member of the Société des Artistes Français.
